Handbook Long-Term Care

In 2006 Medical Information Centre TZMO SA issued the guide-book ‘Long-Term Care in the Benefits of Nurses and Minders’. The authors of the publication are Elżbieta Szwałkiewicz, the National Consultant on the Chronically Ill and Disabled, the President of the Association of the Ill and Chronically Immobilised the BLUE UMBRELLA in Olsztyn as well as Jolanta Kaussen, a long-term employee of the Nursing and Care Institution in Berlin. The authoresses are practitioners, they have been concerned with long-term care for many years, actively influencing the improvement of its shape.

The book is a practical guide for nurses and minders, as well as for all those who are acquainted with the issue of care over the chronically ill and disabled and who wish to help in a more competent, professional and humanitarian way.
